PetraCut are neat or straight oils for cutting metals. They contain a balanced package of lubricity additives made up of friction modifiers, fatty materials and extreme pressure additives to deliver performance through all stages of lubrication. The key properties are wetting, heat removal, oxidation stability and low coefficient of friction.
HydroCut are water miscible cutting fluids or coolants for machining and grinding of both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The key properties are cooling, lubrication, low foaming, biological stability (long life), wetting, tramp oil rejection and fines settling.
Rust Preventives
RustStop are rust preventive oils with water displacement and fingerprint suppression properties. RustStop have low odor with excellent corrosion protection including salt protection in areas where salt is present such as ocean shipping. They are available with short term and long term storage protection ratings.
Metal Cleaners
PetraClean are solvent cleaning fluids with low odor, quick to dry, and with water displacing properties suitable for metal cleaning.
HydroClean are water miscible cleaners, typically alkaline or low pH, that are used to clean metals parts leaving a corrosion protective film. They are low foaming suitable for parts cleaning, machinery and factory floors.
Metal Forming Fluids
PetraDraw are neat forming oils containing a balanced package of lubricity additives and rust preventives to yield extended die life, punch life for tough applications such as fine blanking, piercing, etc.
HydroDraw are water miscible metal forming fluids fortified with a balanced package of lubricity additives that yields longer die life, excellent rust protection and generally lower cost of ownership of our fluids. Typically these fluids re easily washed off with HydroClean cleaners.
Hot Forging Lubricants
PetraForge are high quality hot forging compounds and available as synthetic or graphite compounds.
Die Casting Lubricants
PetraCast are high quality die casting lubricants from international companies well respected in their field offering die casting, plunger and fire-resistant hydraulic fluids.
